These terms are an agreement between you and omgochi ("we", "us") for your use of the herself app. By pressing Start talking, or otherwise using herself, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
herself is an AI companion that helps you think through everyday situations: relationships, family, friendships, work and confidence. Its replies are written by an AI model. It is not a person.
herself is not:
If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. In the US you can call or text 988. In the UK and Ireland you can call Samaritans on 116 123.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may use herself only for yourself, not on behalf of someone else.
herself creates an anonymous account when you start. You may later sign in with Apple or Google to save your chats and memories. You are responsible for activity on your device and account, so keep your phone secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

We may limit, suspend or close access if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or put others at risk.
AI can be wrong, incomplete or misread a situation. herself only knows what you tell it and the memories you approve. Use your own judgement, check anything important, and make your own decisions. You are responsible for what you do with a reply, including any message you choose to send to someone else.
You own what you write and upload. You give us a limited licence to host, process and transmit it only to operate herself for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your conversations.
As between you and us, you may use herself's replies to you for any lawful purpose.
To keep herself available and affordable, we set daily and per-minute limits on replies. We may change, add or remove features, and may pause the service for maintenance.
herself is free to use, with usage limits, and the free version may show ads. Ads are not based on your conversations or chat history.
We also offer a paid subscription that removes ads and gives you higher reply limits. The app shows what is included, and the price and billing period, before you buy.
Subscriptions are sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple Account. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours of renewal. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms, not by us.
We may change what the paid subscription includes, its price, or the usage limits on either version. We will tell you in the app before a change takes effect, and a price change will not apply to a period you have already paid for.
If you allow notifications, herself may send occasional check-ins and reminders to start a conversation. They never include what you talked about. You can turn them off in Settings or in iOS Settings.
The herself name, design, copy and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any right to use them beyond using the app.
herself is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that its replies will be accurate. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for decisions you make or actions you take based on herself's replies. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to herself is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded.
You can stop using herself and delete your account at any time. We may end these terms or stop offering herself with reasonable notice, or immediately if you seriously break them. Sections 5, 6, 10, 11 and 14 continue after the terms end.
If we make a material change, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using herself after that, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Delaware, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Before starting a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for herself or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
